    SUGGESTED USE
    Adult females (19 years and older): Take one tablet and two softgels per day, with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Use for at least 3 months to see beneficial effects.

    CoQ10 is a large, fat-soluble molecule. Itโ€™s difficult for your body to absorb, even when taken with food.

    VESIsorb is a patented colloidal delivery system that has been shown to improve the absorption and bioavailability of CoQ10 by 300-600%, compared to standard CoQ10 supplements. This means that taking 250 mg of our CoQ10 is equivalent to taking 750-1,500 mg of other CoQ10 supplements.

    Is it normal for the color of the CoQ10 softgels to vary from box to box?
    Yes. It is normal for the color of the CoQ10 softgels to vary. We use a natural colorant, which can vary slightly in each batch.
    Should I continue taking TheraNatal OvaVite once I find out I'm pregnant?
    The nutrients in the TheraNatal OvaVite tablet are safe to take during pregnancy, and help support your nutrient needs while you are trying to conceive and during early pregnancy (through your first trimester).

    Consult with your healthcare practitioner prior to continuing to take the CoQ10 softgels during pregnancy. Before beginning your second trimester, it is best to switch to a prenatal vitamin designed for pregnancy, like TheraNatal Complete.

    Can I take other nutritional supplements with TheraNatal OvaVite?
    Yes. Certain supplements can be taken along with TheraNatal OvaVite. However, we do not recommend taking another multivitamin, prenatal, or CoQ10 supplement while taking TheraNatal OvaVite.
    Does TheraNatal OvaVite interact with any prescription medications?
    The list below includes some of the more common potential interactions. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list or take the place of advice from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether TheraNatal OvaVite can be taken with your medications.

    Antibiotics: Taking calcium, magnesium, iron, and/or zinc (in TheraNatal OvaVite) with antibiotics can decrease their absorption and effectiveness. Depending on which antibiotic is prescribed, you may need to separate TheraNatal OvaVite from the antibiotic, as indicated below.

  • Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before TheraNatal OvaVite.
  • Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours.
  • Quinolone antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours.

    • Levodopa, Carbidopa: Taking iron (in TheraNatal OvaVite) might decrease the absorption of these medications. Take at separate times of the day.

    Oral Bisphosphonates (i.e., alendronate (Fosamax), etidronate (Didronel), risedronate (Actonel), ibandronate (Boniva), tiludronate (Skelid)): Magnesium, calcium, and iron (in TheraNatal OvaVite) can decrease the absorption of these medications. Separate by 2 hours.

    Penicillamine (Cuprimine, Depen): Taking iron (in TheraNatal Ovavite) might decrease the absorption of this medication. Separate by 2 hours.

    (levothyroxine, Synthroid): Minerals in TheraNatal OvaVite can reduce absorption of these medications. Separate the tablet and thyroid hormone by at least 4 hours.

    Medications for overactive thyroid (methimazole, propylthiouracil): Taking iodine (in TheraNatal Ovavite) along with these medications might change their effects. Consult with your healthcare provider if youโ€™re taking medication for an overactive thyroid along with TheraNatal Ovavite.
